I’m Thea, the person behind JJJ (Joc Joacă Jucării) and mother of two little boys, Thor, 3 years old and Vladi, 1 year old, or rather, the Play Department, because we test, in-house, all the toys you see here.

I graduated in veterinary medicine, then tourism and commercial management, fields from which I learned a lot. However, I gathered my courage, and today I am again a “freshman” in Primary and Preschool Education Pedagogy, a field that I am very passionate about. I am learning how to be with the little ones, in these very important years, in which they discover the universe through play.

Like any mother, after the birth of the children I started looking for toys, with a concern for beauty, quality and respect for the environment, values ​​that I share with my husband Victor, and that we want to instill in the little ones. As you well know, it is not easy, in the flood of loud plastic toys that we find on all the fences today, which inhibit the imagination and overstimulate the developing minds of our children.

In my searches over the last 3 years, I have discovered all kinds of toys made by small and large manufacturers, from all over the world. Thus, I began to collect durable toys, made of natural materials, that support the learning process according to age and stimulate the imagination of children.

And because I wanted them to reach your hands, big and small, I created JJJ (Joc Joacă Jucării), a store where we try to bring together toys carefully chosen and tested, with great seriousness, by our Play Department.

My mission is to ensure that every item in the shop is manufactured responsibly, without exploitation, and with an awareness of its impact on the environment, so that you can accompany your little one, without worries, in his fantastic explorations.
